Oscar Boscolo was born in Padua on May 24, 1942. He resides in the town of Padua San Giorgio in Bosco (PD).
In his works, the human figure predominates. His images are squared and carved (are factored into the plans and volumes) on the lines of Cubist sculpture, but at the same time, the softness of the lines gives them gentleness and sensitivity.
His performances, in particular, the female figures, caught in their inner and outer harmony and united to the soft strains of clay, representing the references of a plastic discourse conducted with finesse and elegance within the stylistic order of formal purity. In the difficult postwar years Oscar Boscolo attended the institute Pietro Selvatico of his hometown. When she passed away her father in spite he found himself in circumstances of great responsibility Oscar was able to engage in the manufacture of ceramics as well understood in the creative sphere. From 1963 he devoted himself successfully to the creation of clay subjects for the toy industry, creating three-dimensional characters of his invention or tradition Disneyana and Metro Goldwyn Mayer.
